Refund Policy
Effective October 22, 2026 · Last updated October 29, 2026
Payments for Larkgrass are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo Payments issues refunds on our behalf, to the payment method you used, subject to Dodo Payments' Buyer Terms.
Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription any time from your account (Settings → Usage and plan). Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Cancelling doesn't delete your data; see the Privacy policy for that.
The paid first week
The trial payment ($5 plus tax for 7 days) works differently from other plan payments:
- Outside the EU, the EEA and the UK, the trial payment isn't refunded. You can cancel any time during the trial, and you won't be charged the $20 renewal.
- In the EU, the EEA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) or the UK (going by your billing country), you have a 14-day withdrawal period from the day you start the trial. If you withdraw within it, you get back the trial payment in proportion to the days you haven't used: we keep 1/7 of it for each day of the trial that has started, and refund the rest. Only time counts, not how much your crew used. Withdrawing ends the trial right away. You can withdraw with Request refund in Settings → Usage and plan, by email to billing@larkgrass.com, or with the withdrawal form.
- The full refund for a barely used payment (below) doesn't apply to the trial payment.
- In the UK, once the trial has turned into Starter, you also have 14 days from your first $20 payment to cancel and get back the share of that payment you haven't used, measured by your crew's usage against the usage that payment covers. We email you on the day of that payment to remind you.
Refunds
You get a full refund of your most recent plan payment if all three of these are true:
- the payment was in the last 7 days,
- your crew has used less than 10% of one week's usage since that payment, and
- you haven't had a refund in the last 12 months.
A refund ends your plan right away, along with any launch bonus. Your agents, chats and files stay in your account.
In the EU, the EEA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) or the UK (going by your billing country), you can also cancel within 14 days and get back the share of your plan payment you haven't used, measured by your crew's usage against the usage that payment covers. This 14-day right runs from your first plan payment. It doesn't start again when you change plan or subscribe again, and it doesn't apply after an earlier plan refund. If the full refund above applies, you get that instead.
Refunds are worked out automatically, so you get an answer straight away. If a payment can't be refunded, the app tells you why. You can also withdraw by sending us the withdrawal form.
Extra usage
Extra usage (prepaid usage) is a one-time purchase of $5 to $200, with no fee on top (tax added at checkout): all of what you pay before tax goes to your Larkgrass usage. It's spent only on Larkgrass tasks (AI and computer time), has no cash value, can't be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged, and expires 12 months after purchase.
Within 14 days of buying extra usage, you can get back the part you haven't used: Settings → Usage and plan → Extra usage → Refund unused. What you've used isn't refunded. The refund is the unused part minus Dodo's payment fee (about 4–6% + $0.40) and its $1 refund fee, so a very small unused amount may come to nothing. In the EU, the EEA and the UK no fees are taken off. After 14 days, extra usage isn't refunded, except for charges we got wrong (below).
In the EU, the EEA and the UK, checkout asks you to confirm that your extra usage or plan starts right away, so you can use it straight after paying. That's why a refund within the 14 days covers only what you haven't used.
Things that aren't refunded
- The launch bonus has no cash value and can't be refunded or exchanged. If a payment is refunded, any unused launch bonus ends.
- Extra usage you've used, and any extra usage more than 14 days after you bought it, except for charges we got wrong (below).
- Usage that went unused in a week can't be refunded, and it doesn't carry over to the next week (see the pricing page).
How to ask for a refund
In Larkgrass, open Settings → Usage and plan and press Request refund (for a plan) or Refund unused next to a purchase under Extra usage. The app checks the rules above and, if the payment qualifies, asks for the refund. Refunds are processed by Dodo Payments and usually reach you in 3 to 15 business days.
Charges we got wrong
If you were charged twice, or charged after cancelling, email billing@larkgrass.com from your account's email address with the date and amount of the payment, and we'll put it right. We reply within 3 business days.
If something's wrong, write to billing@larkgrass.com first; we'll usually sort it out faster than a dispute.
